A Wheelchair for Reginald
by chazak · March 21, 2016
On the 17 February 2016, Adina Feldman posted a message on JJCF. The message expressed that a lady wanted to donate her late husband's wheelchair to a worthy cause.
On the same day the Chazak Foundation received a phone call from a family who was looking for a wheelchair for their domestic worker's son - Reginald. Reginald is 16 years old and has cerebral palsy. He has difficulty walking and struggles to get from one place to another. Reginald was desperately in need of a wheelchair.
A member of Chazak Foundation contacted Adina Feldman to inform her that there was a boy who has cerebral palsy that would really appreciate the lady's late husband's wheelchair. Adina Feldman informed Mrs D'Allessio and her son Adriano that the Chazak Foundation has a perfect recipient for the wheelchair. Mrs D'Allessio and her son Adriano agreeed.
The wheelchair was delivered to Chazak Foundation organisation premises which was then handed over to Reginald. Reginald was so overwhelmed when he received the wheelchair. He now has the ability to get from one place to another easily, with out the every day struggle of walking.
This is a miracle story that very seldom happens. Two families are now relieved and happy as one got to donate a wheelchair to a worthy cause and the other got to receive the wheelchair.
